1. The same working width does not mean the same buying decision.
All three models list an 800 mm cutting width, 16 HP gasoline engine, brushless drive motors and a 10–200 mm cutting-height range. If you need a wider cut, moving from A to D or E does not provide one. The useful comparison starts with the operating brief, handling weight, full machine envelope and the exact supplied configuration.
H-800L-A lists a 300 m remote range and 245 kg net weight. H-800L-D and H-800L-E list 500 m and 285 kg. These are catalog references, not a site trial. Choose the route, operator position and loading method before treating a larger printed number as a benefit.
2. Compare the actual published fields.

The catalog is the comparison basis. Confirm the current drawing, engine identification and packing list for the order being quoted. The heavy-duty tracked range also contains other working widths; these three are the 800 mm shortlist.
3. Will the complete machine fit the route?
H-800L-A lists 1210 mm overall width; D and E list 1200 mm. That 10 mm difference is not a meaningful clearance allowance to assume on an unmeasured route. All three are wider than a 1 metre gate. The 800 mm label describes the working cut, not the chassis width.
Measure gate hardware, row obstructions, turns, loading ramps and the space at the end of a pass. Include clearance required by the exact operating instructions. For a route constrained by a narrow entrance, review the compact tracked range and cutting-width and access guide instead of choosing only among these three models.
4. Is the 500 m range the reason to choose D or E?
It is a specification to investigate when the work brief calls for a different controller range. It is not permission to operate at that distance without visibility. Show the intended operator position, buildings, banks and any obscured sections. Ask for the supplied controller identification and model instructions.
The catalog maximum gradients are 45° for A and 60° for D and E. Neither figure approves a particular wet, loose or cross-slope route. Request operating guidance for the actual machine and representative ground conditions. Read what the radio-range figure means and how to record slope measurements before writing the enquiry.
5. What does the current catalog establish about D versus E?
In the published fields used here, D and E share cutting width, engine output, remote range, net weight, overall dimensions and cutting-height range. Those figures do not establish a difference in cutting finish, speed or reliability. A letter suffix or a different body photograph cannot supply the missing explanation.
The listings do show different packed weights: 325 kg for D and 300 kg for E, while both list 285 kg net weight and the same crate dimensions. Confirm whether the actual packing, included equipment or catalog entry explains the difference. Obtain the final gross weight in writing rather than assuming E has a lighter operating chassis.
Ask for an itemised configuration sheet showing the engine, drive and cutting equipment, controller, adjustment method and included accessories for each offer. If the supplier confirms a difference, compare that named component or function. If the offers are otherwise equivalent for your brief, compare the complete delivery and support terms.
6. Compare handling and support in the same quotation.
A’s listed net weight is 40 kg below D and E, but its catalog packed weight is 325 kg, the same as D. For a shipment, use final gross weight and crate size. For moving a working machine between jobs, check the actual configured machine weight, transport payload, ramp arrangement and unloading equipment.
Give the destination country and port or postcode. Request the named delivery terms, exclusions, manual language, engine service references and matched cutting consumables. A factory offer, a port-delivery offer and an offer including inland transport cover different work. Use the international shipping checklist and parts and warranty questions to keep the comparison consistent.
7. Send a brief that makes the model choice answerable.
Include your vegetation, desired finish, work area, narrowest access, measured slope with units, loading method, quantity and delivery destination. Ask which exact model and configuration should be demonstrated against those conditions. Attach route photographs as well as close-ups of the growth.
Example: “Please compare H-800L-A, H-800L-D and H-800L-E for [site and vegetation]. Access is [measurement], the steepest section is [angle or rise/run], and unloading is available by [method]. Please confirm the configuration differences, gross packing weight, spare-parts package and delivery scope for [country and port/postcode].” Replace the brackets with your measurements.
