What to Include in a Remote-Controlled Mower Shipping Quote

A low unit price tells only part of the story. Ask for the machine, packing and delivery terms in one written quotation.

Compare catalog specifications with your exact site and final quotation.
01 / Define the machine

Put the exact model and configuration on the quote.

Specify model code, quantity, cutting head, engine or fuel type and requested options. If a colour, logo or attachment matters, ask for it as a separate line item. A category name such as “800 mm tracked mower” is not enough to identify the delivered configuration.

Compare the quoted specification sheet against the product center. Some catalog drawings and specification tables differ, so request a current drawing and final confirmation for the exact order rather than relying on a single website image.

02 / Check packing

Machine size and crate size are different.

Ask for net weight, gross weight, assembled dimensions and packed dimensions in separate fields. For the H-800L-A, this site's catalog lists 1100 × 1210 × 600 mm for the machine and 1360 × 1420 × 750 mm for packing, with 245 kg net and 325 kg gross weight. These are catalog figures, not a final packing list.

Request the actual number of crates, any detached parts, the loading method and a final packing list before dispatch. Your forwarder needs the confirmed packed dimensions and weight.

03 / Define delivery

State the destination and what the price includes.

Provide destination country, port or full delivery address, and ask which freight leg, export handling, insurance and destination charges are included. Record the quotation currency, validity period, production lead time and estimated transit separately. Do not treat an estimated transit time as a guaranteed arrival date.

Ask what documents will accompany the machine and whether the model designation on those documents matches the nameplate and invoice. Use the documents page to request the exact model-specific file rather than assuming a general attestation covers your variant.

Buying from another country? Name the actual delivery point.

For a US or Canadian enquiry, give the state or province and ZIP or postal code. For the UK or an EU destination, give the country, postcode and unloading address; “Europe” is not a delivery destination. For Australia or New Zealand, identify the island, region and port or postcode. Use the same precision for other destinations, including inland or island deliveries.

Ask who arranges each stage: export handling, ocean or air freight, destination clearance, inland transport and unloading. Name the delivery term and place on the offer. A quotation to a port is not automatically a quotation to your property. Confirm currency, payment milestones and which charges remain outside the supplier’s scope.

Before payment, have your importer or broker check the exact machine, engine, controller, packaging and intended use against the destination’s current requirements. Request the applicable model-specific documents and manual language. A general certificate image does not establish eligibility for every country. Confirm the shipment can proceed before booking freight.

04 / Plan after arrival

List support items before you compare prices.

Ask for the manual language, spare blade or flail set, filters, tracks or belts where applicable, and the written warranty procedure. Check who handles a damaged crate or missing part and what evidence must be supplied. The parts and support guide has a fuller checklist.

Ready for a comparable quote?

Choose the exact model, quantity and destination in the quick quote form. Add the packing and document questions in the requirements field.

Plan the handover as well as the shipment.

Give the receiving contact, time zone, access restrictions and lifting equipment. Arrange how crate damage or missing items will be recorded at receipt and who must be contacted. Keep the packing list, invoice, machine serial number and written support agreement together. Ask for a remote handover time that suits both parties and confirm the language used for instructions.
