Find the right machine
Build a catalog shortlist from your job, slope, preferred working width and measured access. Then explore clearly labelled work-time assumptions.
Site assessment
01What's the job?
02Steepest ground?
03Preferred working width?
04Narrowest clear opening
Measure the usable opening. The dimensional screen excludes machines as wide as the opening; it does not approve turning space or operating clearance.
How long will your site take?
Change the assumed cutting speed and efficiency. The same assumptions apply to each mowing width; they do not establish what a model can achieve on your site.
Shared assumptions, not a performance ranking.
Area ÷ (cutting width × speed × efficiency) gives the estimated working time. Include overlap and turns once in your efficiency assumption; add transport, unloading and other excluded tasks separately. Identical widths produce identical estimates at the same inputs.
Keep your site measurements with your request.
Use the buyer worksheet to record slope units, access, vegetation and transport details, then carry the summary into the quote form.
