Describe the vegetation and the finish you need.
For regularly maintained lawns, compare rotary-deck machines where an even grass finish matters. For tall weeds and rough growth, ask about a flail cutting head. Avoid assuming that every flail head is appropriate for the same diameter or type of brush: blade design, engine, feed rate and the actual material all affect the result.
Send photos of the growth and tell the supplier how often you plan to cut it. Mention stones, wire, debris and hidden obstacles, as those require site preparation and operating precautions regardless of head type.
Use the exact model, not a category label alone.
The H-550S wheeled range is presented for maintained grass and open lawns. The flail range includes diesel GC and HC models as well as gasoline HQ models. A 1000 mm cutting width does not tell you which engine, head, slope guidance or packing arrangement comes with a quoted unit.
See the H-550S-T for a wheeled option, the HQ-Z100 for a gasoline flail, and the GC-192-100 for a diesel flail. Confirm current head type and compatible replacement parts for the specific quotation.
Ask how wear parts will be supplied.
Request a list of blades or flails, belts where fitted, filters and other wear parts for the selected model. Ask how to identify each part, which tools are needed for replacement and what the manual says about inspection intervals. The published warranty and spare-parts page lists questions to settle in writing; it is not a blanket promise that every part is stocked in your market.
Give the supplier four concrete details.
- Vegetation type, typical height and any woody or hidden material.
- Desired finish, frequency of mowing and total working area.
- Terrain and access width, including gates and transport limits.
- Destination, quantity and the spare parts you want priced with the machine.

Three model references for a more useful demonstration.
| Model | Cutting width | Machine width | Power type | Net weight | Remote range |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| H-800L-D | 800 mm | 1200 mm | Gasoline | 285 kg | 500 m |
| HQ-Z100 | 1000 mm | 1200 mm | Gasoline | 330 kg | 400 m |
| HC-Z120 | 1200 mm | 1430 mm | Diesel | 347 kg | 400 m |
H-800L-D is a tracked mowing reference; HQ-Z100 is a gasoline flail reference; HC-Z120 is a wider diesel flail reference. Use the figures to identify access, power and transport differences, then ask for confirmation of the cutting assembly supplied with each offer. The table does not rank the finished result or establish equivalent capacity.
For a useful video, ask to see the growth before cutting, one uninterrupted pass, the remaining material and any repeat passes. State whether your target is a maintained grass finish or processing overgrown vegetation. A short edited clip without the machine and material identified cannot settle that choice.
Read the separate Mulcher Mower guide if the brief involves different cutting tools or heavier vegetation. Request the HQ-Z100 setup for your vegetation.
